THE CAMP
The Amazing Mara Camp is situated on a private stretch of the Talek River in our own 300 acre piece of paradise. Each of our 7 en-suite tents has breathtaking views across the Talek River. As well as our resident herds of hippo, we regularly have elephants, zebras, giraffes and many other species visit the camp... and Saba the Leopard is a frequent morning guest!
Guests will be enthralled by a multitude of birds who visit our bird baths and feeding stations throughout the day... and might even meet our resident mongooses or genet cats!
ACCOMODATION
Our camp is specifically designed to offer every guest the chance to feel like they are the only guests in camp! Each tent is en-suite, complete with flush toilets and hot showers 24 hours a day. (Perfect for wahsing away the safari dust at the end of a long and enjoyable day...)
All tents have their own independent power stations, allowing 24 hour uninterrupted power and lighting.
Add in room service and you might never want to leave!
THE FOOD
SEASONAL AND ORGANIC
Our camp boasts some exceptional chefs, who pride themselves on food full of flavour, prepared from the freshest ingredients available.
Our food is sourced from sustainable and organic vegetable farms. We also work closely with the local community to purchase fresh seasonal produce as and when it is available.
NO DIETARY TOO BIG OR SMALL
Our chefs have been internationally trained to cater for any and every dietary request.
We understand that some guests may have specific requirements and, as long as we have advance information, we are more than happy to prepare your meals to suit your pallet.
AL FRESCO DINNING
Being in this amazing location, we feel obliged to make the most of it. From dinning under the stars, to breakfasts on the river bank, or even a romantic meal outside your tent, we love to turn your dinning into an experience you'll never forget!
